Our newest pant and therefore newest obsession, the Contessa Pants are a barrel shaped pull-on trouser that (like all of our favorites pieces) can be dressed up or down. The unique structure of these high-waisted pants comes together with thoughtful darts at the knees and the ankles. And rest assured—we didn’t forget to add very deep pockets for all of your random-yet-essential essentials.

The fit is very generous, so take your usual size for big circus vibes or size down if you prefer something a little more tailored. This technical Japanese fabric (100% nylon) is our updated version for colder days.

Contessa Pant

This is the nylon block, and it is not the linen one. Against the Cotton/Linen Contessa it runs 1–4" wider at the unstretched waist and 0.5–1" shorter through the rise and inseam. The inseam also holds at 24.75" from L upward rather than growing.

How to measure

Use a soft tape, keep it level, and don't pull it tight — it should sit against you, not squeeze. It's easiest over a thin top or nothing at all.

Chest

Around the fullest part of your bust, with the tape level across your back and your arms relaxed at your sides.

Waist

Around the narrowest part of your torso, usually just above your navel. Breathe normally.

Hips

Around the fullest part of your hips and seat, with your feet together.
