Our clothes are cut generously on purpose, so the number on the label matters less than the two or three measurements underneath it. Here's everything you need to find your size — and someone to email if you'd rather just ask.

Start with your body

The chart below is body measurements, so measure yourself and find the column you land in. Every product page carries that style's own flat measurements under Fit & feel — that's where you'll see how much room the garment actually adds.

How to measure

Use a soft tape, keep it level, and don't pull it tight — it should sit against you, not squeeze. It's easiest over a thin top or nothing at all.

A few things worth knowing

These come from measuring the actual garments, style by style. They're the details that tend to settle a decision.

• The Sheba's biggest jump is S to MMeasured flat, the chest gains 1¾″ between those two sizes — more than anywhere else in the run. If you're deciding between them, that's the one to think about.
• Sheba L and XL are the same lengthBoth sit at 23″ from the shoulder. Going up to XL buys you chest and shoulder, not body. The 2XL adds 1½″ of length back.
• Our knit sleeves are meant to sit shortThe Sheba runs 18″ at XS to 22″ at 2XL — bracelet length, so it stays out of the way. Sizing up buys you about an inch.
• The Patch Pant's length comes from the riseThe inseam barely moves — 26″ to 26½″ across the whole size run. Size for your hips and waist, and the length follows.
• The Chef Pant grows 3″ in length from S to MIt's the one place that chart jumps. Worth knowing if you're tall and between sizes.
• The Shiloh gains 1½″ in the chest from S to MIts length stays within an inch of the Sheba at every size, so the two layer over each other cleanly.
