Corso Buttondown - Black/Cobalt
Description
Short sleeved, boxy buttondown with a slightly cropped fit and zig zag appliqué border.
Design inspiration can come from many places at once. The triangular embroidery motif can be traced back to early 18th century quilting, when the popular pattern was called a “dogtooth border.”
The pattern also references handmade Rarámuri garments made by Tarahumara women in rural Chihuahua, Mexico. A portion of our profits for this dress are donated to Fondo Semillas, a feminist fund that supports indigenous women, youth, and marginalized groups in Mexico.
