Your piece is made from FSC-certified wood, finished with a vegan, non-toxic varnish, and strung on an elastic band with metal hardware. It's meant to be handled — a little wear is part of it.

Wooden beads

Wipe with a soft, dry cloth. If they need more than that, use a barely damp cloth and dry them right away. Don't soak them or run them under water, and keep them out of the washing machine — wood swells and the varnish will dull.

Elastic band

The band is made to stretch. Pulling it hard, or hanging it from one point over a long time, will loosen it faster. Store it loosely coiled rather than stretched.

Metal ring and clasp

Wipe dry if it gets wet. Skin oils and humidity will soften the finish over time — that's normal and not a fault.

If your piece came with a clear phone case

Clear cases yellow with sunlight and age. That's the material, not a defect. Wash with mild soap and warm water and dry it fully before putting your phone back in. Skip alcohol, solvents and abrasive cleaners — they cloud the plastic permanently.

Generally

Keep it out of direct sun for long stretches, and take it off before swimming, showering, or the beach. Sunscreen and perfume can mark the varnish, so let those dry before you put it on.
